Halliburton, Bechtel whistleblowers testify before Senate panel today

WASHINGTON, Sept. 10 (HalliburtonWatch.org) -- The Senate Democratic Policy Committee heard critical testimony today regarding contracting abuses in Iraq by U.S. contractors, including Halliburton's KBR subsidiary. The panel heard testimony from former KBR employee, Marie deYoung; former Bechtel contract negotiator Sheryl Tappan; government contracting expert, Steve Schooner; the executive vice president for the Coalition for Government Procurement, Larry Allen; and the executive director for the Project on Government Oversight, Danielle Brian.
